Is your child struggling - are you overwhelmed and feel like you don't know how to help them

Children and Youth: 

• Is your child or youth struggling with emotional regulation, behavioral outbursts, frequent crying, having difficulty with friendships or struggling in school. Have they recently experienced a trauma or loss or are they displaying unexplained changes in their behavior.

• We will provide a safe, fun and creative space for your child or youth to learn about their emotions, to verbalize how they feel and what they need to get their needs met. We will spend time with your child or youth using a variety of Dialectical Behavioral therapy strategies, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness and psychoeducation. 

Denae specializes in providing support and psychoeducation to children with ADHD, Anxiety, Grief and Loss.

Parenting Support:

• Are you questioning your parenting decisions? Feeling like you have tried everything and you are still not parenting in a way that seems to be working or feels good. Do you feel like your child (ren) are making the decisions in your life? Are you wanting to understand your child's ADHD diagnosis and how you can support them?

• Denae will hold a space for you to be heard, listen to the challenges you are facing and provide parenting strategies that create a calm, connected family environment. The strategies will include creating an environment for open discussions on emotions, problem solving, reflecting and recognizing when and how to connect. Denae uses attachment theory and connection based parenting strategies.

Individual support: 

• Have you experienced trauma, a separation, loss, a new life transition or are you looking to improve the way you feel or how you live your life? or understand your recent ADHD or mental health diagnosis?

• We have many years experience providing a safe and compassionate space for those who have joined us in our practice. We will ensure that you take the lead, are listened too, go at your own pace and as we work together we will help you create a future that feels good for you.
